Candle Lake became the very first project brought to life under our new SkyFall brand — and from the moment we imagined it, we knew it would be something extraordinary. Not just an event, but a feeling: a return to the world we once saw through our childhood eyes.

City Park — child meets wonder

For us, City Park is more than a location. It’s where we wandered as children, holding our grandparents’ hands, discovering a world that felt larger, brighter, and filled with possibility. The lake shimmered like a fairytale mirror, and Vajdahunyad Castle stood before us as if it had stepped out of a storybook.

As adults, we wanted to find our way back to that sense of wonder.

Candle Lake was born from this desire — from the wish to recreate that magical, childlike perspective in the heart of Budapest.

What is Candle Lake?

Candle Lake is a celebration of light, music, and the gentle stillness of the lake. A "floating" stage surrounded by thousands of candles, water reflections, and the iconic silhouette of the city and castle around us.

It is special because:

• It takes place on Budapest’s enchanting City Park lake.

• It features a one-of-a-kind "floating" stage designed to feel both cinematic and dreamlike.

• The candlelit atmosphere creates the sense of stepping into a world between reality and imagination.

• Every concert is themed, emotional, and crafted as an immersive experience.

• Above all, Candle Lake invites people to believe in magic again — even if only for an hour.

The first season: six sold-out Coldplay concerts

The debut 2025 summer season surpassed all expectations.We closed the year with six fully sold-out Coldplay-themed concerts, with tickets disappearing within moments.

When the first notes of Fix You echoed across the water, the candles flickered in harmony and the audience breathed as one. It was more than a performance — it was a shared moment of wonder.

A journey for the imagination — and a new chapter for us

Candle Lake is more than a project for us. It’s proof that childhood magic never fades — it simply waits for us to rediscover it.
